Fix 1: Reinstall the TiviMate App
If you’ve previously set up TiviMate at another location, such as your parent’s or friend’s home, you might encounter this error.
TiviMate syncs with the IPTV server periodically, and this can cause issues if the app was set up elsewhere.
To resolve this, uninstall the TiviMate app and then reinstall it.

Download an External Player
First, download an external player such as MX Player.
Change Playback Settings
- Go to Settings.
- Select Playback.
- Set External Player to “Yes” to switch from the TiviMate internal player to the downloaded one.
Play Channels
- Play any channel a few times.
- Ensure you open the channels in fullscreen mode, as the small screen player will not work with the external player.
Restart TiviMate
Restart the TiviMate app.
Revert Playback Settings
- Go back to Settings.
- Select Playback.
- Set External Player to “No” to switch back to the internal player.
